Board of Advisors

Scott Hays, Founder / Producer
Scott has more than 20 years as a media consultant in the publishing industry, involving a broad range of experiences in editorial, sales, advertising, marketing and promotions, and conference development. He has launched more than a dozen newspapers, magazines, and websites, and spent 10 years as a media consultant in the interactive media industry. More recently, Scott has devoted his time working to build a bridge between the music industry and non-profit organizations. Last year, for example, he produced a benefit CD and documentary titled Shelter Me for the homeless.

Roger Harvey, Executive Producer
Roger has been a waterproofing contractor in the OC coast area for the past 30 years, and has worked on several of HomeAid’s playhouse projects. A passionate guitar player and singer/songwriter, Roger has used his musical talents to work with several Orange County needs organizations. He also produced documentaries for a professional volleyball tour and Baja fishing. Over the years, Roger assisted in volunteer flood disaster search & rescue, and received an Honorary Volunteer Resolution by the city of Seal Beach. Most importantly, he believes in homeless awareness and is dedicated to its resolve.

Marc Lisenby, Executive Producer
Marc has more than 30 years of experience as owner of a housekeeping services company for the commercial, medical, and educational industries in the Atlanta area. He also is past-President of the Northlake Rotary Club. Due to some rare diseases that have affected his siblings, Marc has a passion for medically fragile individuals and the organizations that support them. By utilizing his skills as a businessman, and combining them with a desire to promote patient advocacy groups, he hopes to introduce others to the need for more funding and research into diseases such as Pulmonary Hypertension and Primary Progressive Aphasia, and other little known illnesses.

Faye Chapman, Chair
Faye’s passion for photography led to her focus on the homeless. Years ago during a photo shoot, a homeless woman accidentally appeared in Faye’s viewfinder.  The woman’s expression changed Faye’s life and inspired her book: Faces of the Shadows, Life on the Street. It raises awareness and donates a portion of sales to homeless causes.  On the Laguna Beach Housing and Human Service Committee, Faye helped implement the Meters for Change project collecting more than $8,000 since 2009. The donations provide homeless services at the Laguna Relief and Resource Center, where Faye serves as Chair.

Pete Neumann, Co-Chair
Pete has more than 20 years of experience as a commercial loan officer. Over the years, he has been involved with the acquisition and start-up of four businesses in the publishing and recruiting industries. More recently, Pete has been active in real estate development in Western Colorado where he served as president of the Home Builders Association of Montrose County. And though he possesses a broad range of business skills, it’s his passion for helping others that keeps him actively involved in various community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity in Montrose, Colorado.

About Us

Founded in 2007, WeedPatch Recordings is an independent group of like-minded individuals who want to use music as a way to raise awareness for the various charity organizations across the country. The Laguna Beach, CA-based company’s project, Shelter Me, is a musical collaboration of local songwriters and musicians, some of them homeless, about the issue of homelessness. The company’s next project, Home Again, is a music-documentary to better help serve those of us less fortunate: current homeless families, single mothers and their babies, teenagers at risk, and victims of domestic abuse.
